These are some of the pictures I took while on vacation in Texas. If you checked out my other blogs, you will know I posted pictures from the FreedomWorks FreePac, Under God Indivisible and Restoring Love events on Ellies Blogging blog. You will also know that I posted what I did during my vacation on my Ellies Everyday Life blog. So here are some of the pictures.
When the events were over we spent the rest of the week at the Tanglewood Vacation Villas in Pottsboro, Texas. Luckily our room was on the first floor because of my foot. I took a picture of the pool from the tower they had overlooking the lake and the marina.
Here are some photos of the room.
Our trip to Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day on August 1st.

This is a photo of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas where the Dead Sea Scrolls & the Bible exhibit was held. Unfortunately like most museums, no pictures were allowed.
The JFK Museum (Texas School Book Depository).
The museum had lots of exhibits and videos from the days when Kennedy was shot and died. They had photos of Lee Harvey Oswald, Jack Ruby and so much more. No pictures allowed to be taken inside.

Rosa Parks Memorial
Rosa Parks was an African American civil rights activist who refused to obey a bus driver in 1955 when told to give up her seat to a white passenger and was arrested for civil disobedience. She was one of many to resist the segregation of blacks on buses.
